2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the first freely elected Hungarian National Assembly, the first democratic parliament to be elected after the fall of the socialist regime in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s half-day conference, dedicated to parliamentary and legislative research, organized by the National University of Public Service and the Centre for Parliamentary Studies at the University of Győr, will be part of a series of commemorative events, including a commemorative session of the National Assembly.
